Thresholds is one of the oldest and largest providers of recovery services for people with mental illness in Illinois, using evidence-based practices and a range of support services to treat the comprehensive needs of clients. Thresholds operates 30 evidence-based programs at more than 100 locations throughout Chicago, its suburbs, and nine surrounding counties. Services include assertive outreach, case management, housing, employment, education, psychiatry, primary care, substance abuse treatment and research. The organization manages more than 75 residential developments in the Chicago metropolitan area. Residents are encouraged to develop basic living skills, including diet, money management, wellness and community integration.
